Arranging a Baptism

Baptism is a great marker of entering into the Christian family.

If you have not been baptised and would like to find out more about what it means to follow Jesus we regularly run Alpha Courses to explore what it means to follow Jesus and we delight to baptise those of all ages who have decided to follow Jesus. Please get in touch using the contact page if you want to find out more about being baptised as an adult. 

We also baptise children as a marker of their belonging to the family of God. If you would like to arrange a baptism please get in touch using the contact page. The clergy person taking the baptism will usually arrange to meet with you to explain what baptism is all about and to talk about suitable God-parents. For those who would like to celebrate the birth of a child but who don’t want a baptism, we can also offer a service of Thanksgiving which provides an opportunity to give thanks to God and to pray for his help in bringing up a child.
